QQuinn Collins
Writer • Director • Story Architect

The creative force at the heart of TorridFilms, Quinn Collins is a writer and director whose work blends classic genre filmmaking with sharp, character-driven storytelling. Where tradition meets originality, he crafts stories that feel both timeless and unexpected.

A lawyer by profession and a former comedian by instinct, Quinn brings a rare combination of discipline, timing, and wit to every project. His storytelling is rooted in structure but elevated by voice—where tension, humor, and humanity intersect in compelling and often surprising ways.

He is the screenwriter behind all of TorridFilms projects including Fort SavageThe Tarawa Club, Tough Hombre, Gold Town, and Boogie Board Beach with a 15 song original score. Moving fluidly across genres—from western adventure to film noir to musical comedy—his work consistently reflects a distinct signature: bold characters, moral conflict, and narratives that resonate.

At TorridFilms, Quinn is the creative engine. His vision shapes the stories at their core—driving each project forward with originality, purpose, and a deep commitment to storytelling craft.

DDeborah Blease
Producer • Director • Systems Architect

With more than 25 years in film and television, Deb Blease is a producer and director who brings structure, precision, and momentum to every production. Where others see complexity, she builds clarity—designing workflows that allow creative vision to thrive without compromise.

Her award-winning documentary work includes Rhapsody in Blue, an intimate portrait of Maine’s blueberry harvest, and Catch for Tomorrow, a forward-looking exploration of lobstering in the Gulf of Maine. Her storytelling is grounded in authenticity—capturing real people, real environments, and the subtle tensions that shape them.

Deb’s expertise lives behind the lens as much as in front of it. She excels in logistics, production systems, and emerging technologies—ensuring that even the most ambitious shoots are executed with efficiency and control. From pre-production planning to final delivery, she creates the framework that turns ideas into finished films.

At TorridFilms, Deb is the operational backbone. Her steady leadership and technical command provide the foundation for bold, creative work—bringing discipline to the process while protecting the integrity of the story.
